In the US, we celebrate birthdays in the GRANDEST ways. We
spend countless thought, effort and time planning
special parties that last an entire day…even to the wee morning hours the next day.
When a new bundle of joy is born, the first months are spent in a perpetual state of eating and napping. When baby turns one, it is an exciting season to look forward to because it’s at this time that baby can start to learn their environment and explore with hands, feet, mouth and eyes. They are trying things for the first time and it seems quite befitting that we must celebrate this first milestone with a big celebration of family and friends.
